Paul Wackers | Early Romantics

Showcasing his brand of abstract theory on canvas, Paul Wackers approach in his showing at New Image Gallery, included adding many modern elements into his paintings. The Brooklyn-based muse’s work titled “Early Romantics” focuses specifically on the modern take on still life painting not the historical branch typically practiced.
Along with the abstract theory of geometry, it’s novel approach for muli-method artists allow for a wider variety of collages to be constructed in the abstract realm.
Mr.Wackers also decided to compose somewhat of a mini installation, by working with not only a single canvas but with numerous layers and materials to add a sense of scale and depth which isn’t as easily translated with only a single layer.
