Rostarr | Turbo Arena

New Yorker, Rostarr was recently headlining his exhibition opening in Mexico City entitled,”Turbo Arena” inside of Anonymous Gallery. His style can be described as being a throwback to the stop motion animation days of early cinema.
His uncanny ability to draw the viewer in with comedy and irony is a bit unsettling at first and then one gets the feeling that the chaos within the pieces are being held at bay. This truly unique series of works get stare treatment, just looking at one of them can be time consuming. Along with this showing, there was an eighty-foot installation that stopped passerby’s in there tracks during the show. The exhibition will stay open through the end of March for readers that will be in central america.
